UKIP and FPÖ, comparative analysis of party-based euroscepticism

The focus of the bachelor thesis is Euroscepticism and radical right parties. At first, the thesis describes the origins and roots of contemporary Euroscepticism, the next step is to present the main theoretical approaches. Based on that, the theoretical framework will be introduced. The aim is to define to which type of Euroscepticism belong United Kingdom Independence Party and Freedom Party of Austria and compare their manifestos during the period 2009-2014.

This bachelor thesis consists of analysis of the creation and development of the political movement "Starostové a nezávislí". In the first part, to engage the reader in the beginning and introduce him to the topic, the thesis is focusing on the concept of the political movement, states its functions and defines the major differences between political party and political movement. The thesis also notices certain circumstances which are mandatory for the creation of a political movement or party and the decrease of popularity for the traditional political parties in the Czech Republic. The main part of the thesis covers the political movement itself, namely the description of its creation and its development until the year 2022, which is portraited through using the elections data. The thesis also recognizes the programme and the electorate of the movement, as well as its crises and critique received by the society. Changes in Social Policies in Election Programs of Political Parties since 1993

The work "Changes in Social Policies in Election Programs of Political Parties since 1993" focuses on the perception of social policies by entities active on the political stage in the Czech Republic. Social policy represents one of the most interesting and most important policies for common citizens and also voters in the Czech Republic. This field encompasses not only the subject of social topics, but also health, housing and education policies. After gathering all of the available election programs, there is a description of several selected political parties and movements. It is focused on the portion of social policy within the whole program (word count), its placement and basic content divided into four groups: social policy, health policy, education policy, and housing policy. Afterwards, the parties are divided into subgroups and in the next three chapters they are compared with each other. It is a comparison of right-wing, centrist, and left-wing parties, a comparison of parliamentary and non-parliamentary parties, and in the end a comparison of traditional and non- traditional parties. Creation and development of TOP 09 from 2009 to the present

The goal of this Thesis is to introduce the circumstances of creation the political party TOP09, its development, results in elections in years 2010 - 2018 and its position in current political scene. In the introduction I will define the theoretical background and context. I will interduce the political party, its place in the system and I mention the typology of political parties. Then I will describe the party system with an emphasis on party system in Czech Republic. In the main part of the Thesis I will describe circumstances of creation the political party TOP09 and define programmatic of the party. I'm going to analyze a reason of successes and failures of the party in elections, which took place on Czech Republic, since its creation in 2008 till present year 2018. In this thesis is based on analytical, descriptive and comparative methods.

The diploma thesis is focused on an environmental policy upheld by the coalition of ČSSD, ANO and KDU-ČSL in 2013-2017. The researched topic is the reaction to the ongoing global climate change manifesting itself in the context of the Czech Republic in the form of drought. The thesis analyzes the electoral programs of political subjects and the subsequent governmental policy of the coalition in the sense of policy - politics. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the extent to which the given political subjects dealt with the examined environmental issues in their electoral programs, in the elections to the Chamber of Deputies in 2013 and the scope of a solution to the problem of global climate change and the drought phenomenon of the political parties within the common government policy. Part of the thesis is also an attempt to include political subjects in the classification scheme of localism - globalism. .
Vision of educational policy in electoral programs of political parties

This diploma thesis aims to describe the development of educational policy in the Czech Republic since the turn of the 20th and 21st centuries to 2017 and at the same time to compare the vision of educational policy in electoral programs of political groupings, which in 2017 won more than 5% of votes and thus exceeded the limit set by law for joining the Chamber of Deputies. The theoretical part focuses on the description of the development of educational policy from 1999 to 2017, in which it takes into account the political situation in the country and its impact on education policy. With the help of analysis and interviews, the research part seeks to compare the visions of the educational policy of political parties currently represented in the Chamber of Deputies. Program Development of the Czech Pirate Party

This thesis analyses selected program documents of the Czech Pirate Party for the period 2009- 2017 in terms of content of its themes. Specifically, these are the Statute and all election programs created at that time. The aim of the thesis is to determine whether the program development of the Czech Pirate Party occurred during the monitored period. From a methodological point of view, this is a content analysis supplemented by a comparative method. The thesis is based on the characteristic of the theoretical concept of the niche party, which will be presented in the first, theoretical part of thesis. The second part of the thesis takes a closer look at methodology. The third and at the same time the most comprehensive part deals with the introduction of pirate parties and the Czech Pirate Party, the actual content analysis of selected program documents and the subsequent comparison.

in english language: The diploma thesis is focused on expert capacities of selected political parties in the Czech republic in the field of the migration policy in context of election programs for the House of Commons election in the Czech republic in 2017. Migration policy has never been so discussed theme. But it was changed with coming of "migration crisis" and today is the access to the migration policy and the migration crisis in election programs monitored by media and electores very much. I want to focus on the expert background of the selected czech political parties, especially on partie's comissions and sections a their expert capacities. They are specializing in migration policy and migration crisis and provided opinions and backgrounds for the parties for election program. The research is focused on these parties: SPD, KSČM, Strana zelených. I am going to compare analytical capacities of these parties. I want to find out the functioning of the commissions and the type of experts. The way how the members of the commissions have become members is researched too. Program and Profile Change of the Slovak National Party in 2006-2016

This bachelor thesis deals with the activities of the Slovak National Party in politics from 2006- 2010 and how their political profile has changed over time. After introducing the theoretical attitudes, there will be briefly described the nature of the party, more precisely the ideological background, its electorate and the history of the party from 1989 up until 2006 and the emphasis of the most crucial moments in during period. Subsequently, the work focuses on the evolution of the SNP in particular parliamentary terms, whereas the emphasis is put on the causes of successes and failures in parliamentary elections. This topic is linked with the question of fluctuation, which caused the fall in votes of numbers of votes for the SNP in certain cases. Within analyzed parliamentary terms, all attention focused on the beginning of the 2016-2020 parliamentary term, because the parliamentary election in 2016 started a fundamental change for the party. After being an out-parliamentary party for four years, the party again gained its seat in the parliament with a seemingly high percentage of votes. It became a part of the coalition and its leader, Andrej Danko, became Speaker of the National Council of the Slovak Republic.
